Jessica Collett is an associate professor and director of graduate studies in the department of sociology. Professor Collett contributes to undergraduate education by directing award-winning senior theses in both Sociology and Gender Studies, teaching the Kaneb Center’s Graduate Education course on “Effective and Exciting Teaching in Social Sciences and Humanities,” and training a number of her department’s graduate students to be more effective teachers through teaching assistantships, apprenticeships, and mentoring.
