Examples of Student Work

Student work demonstrates progress toward achievement of the learning goals. Instructor feedback guides the learning process and promotes student achievement. The samples of student work provided by the instructor to reviewers should represent the spectrum of student performance in the course according to assessment type and level of achievement. Assessment types might include:

  • ungraded student work with instructor feedback — e.g., comments on drafts and journals, feedback on in class presentations
  • graded student work — e.g., quizzes, exams, projects, papers, etc. with or without instructor feedback
