Graduate Student Teaching Apprenticeship Program

Science and Engineering

This program supports graduate students in the Colleges of Science and Engineering in carrying out a mentored advanced teaching experience within their department. Teaching activities will be jointly determined by the faculty mentor and the apprentice and could include class observation, literature review, planned micro-teaching, etc. Students who complete this program may also be eligible for the Advanced Teaching Scholar certificate.

Arts and Letters

The Kaneb Center collaborates with some departments within the College of Arts and Letters to offer discipline-specific programming and teaching certificates. Please contact your DGS or the Kaneb Center for more information on these opportunities.
