Description: Conflict is often thought to be a problem in the classroom, but it can also serve as a learning experience for students. This workshop will discuss strategies for managing conflict, discussing difficult topics, and creating a safe and productive classroom learning environment.
Learning Goals:

After successfully completing this workshop you will be able to:

  • identify techniques for addressing conflict in the classroom.
  • generate a plan for discussing different topics.
  • apply conflict prevention and conflict resolution strategies in your teaching.
