Evaluating Neutrality in the Classroom

Description: How do we as instructors position ourselves in the classroom when we teach sensitive topics? We will examine the ways in which the classroom is a political space, whether we set it up as such or not. In this workshop, we will reflect individually and as a group on how neutrality functions in the classroom. How can we be more active participants in classroom discussion without recreating hierarchies?
