Description:
Are you anxious about TAing for the first time, or concerned about your ability to speak to a group of students? Join us for this opportunity to practice your teaching in a supportive environment, while working with other instructors in similar situations. Participants will prepare a brief lesson on a topic of their choosing, present that lesson, and get feedback from other group members.
Learning Goals:

After successfully completing this workshop you will be able to:

  • approach your teaching assignment with decreased anxiety.
  • identify components of an effective teaching presentation.
