Kevin Abbott earned his B.A. in Computer Science from Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana, and his M.S. in Administration from the University of Notre Dame. He joined the OIT in 1997; before that he was employed by Whirlpool Corporation.

Kevin works closely with faculty to choose and implement technology to enhance teaching and learning. Recent projects include Economics and Physics course archival for remote and distance access, classroom response systems, Flash simulations, and TabletPC faculty pilots. He has taught many information technology and educational technology graduate and undergraduate courses for Bethel College and the Michigan State University School of Education.
