David Go is a professor in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering and serves as Director of Graduate Studies. He joined the department in 2008 after completing his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University (2008),M.S. in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Cincinnati (2004), and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (2001) at the University of Notre Dame. He also worked at General Electric Aviation (2001-2004), where he was a graduate of the Edison Engineering Development Program. Professor Go’s research interests are in the area of thermal-fluids, with a particular focus on plasma science and engineering, microfluidics, and heat and energy transfer. He has received many awards throughout his career and is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
Professor Go is a 2018-19 recipient of the Reverend Edmund P. Joyce, C.S.C., Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching.
