Visual Understanding Environment (VUE) is a free desktop tool for creating concept maps. In this session, you’ll first learn a little about how VUE works and how it can be used in teaching and learning. However, you’ll spend most of the time making a concept map of your own.

After successfully completing this workshop you will be able to:

  • create a concept map using VUE.
  • describe a way that this kind of activity can be used in class.
