Eight Ways to use Blogs in a Course

Blogs are very flexible - they're more than just places to ramble. You can use one to make a public-facing course website, a journal, a portfolio, and much more. This session gives an overview of what a blog can do and shows examples of several ways it can be used.

After successfully completing this workshop you will be able to:

  • List several ways a blog could be used in a course
  • Explain how a blog differs from an online discussion
  • Describe several aspects of a blog, including posts and pages
