Make a Digital Comic with Pixton

The is the first in a series of “Maker” workshops to be presented by the Center. Pixton is a web-based tool for creating comics - from a few panels to a whole book. In this session, you’ll first learn a little about how Pixton works and how it can be used in teaching and learning. However, you’ll spend most of the time building a comic you can use as a model for a student assignment.

Learning Goals:

After successfully completing this workshop you will be able to:

  • Create a comic using Pixton
  • Describe a way that this kind of activity could be used in a class

What to Bring:

Bring a laptop for the hands-on work (an iPad will not work)

Cookies and drinks will be provided; bring a lunch if you wish.
