Teaching in a Lab Setting

This workshop provides laboratory coordinators/instructors and TAs with tips for helping students learn in science and engineering laboratory settings.

Faculty panelists will identify skill sets relevant to effective lab instruction and teaching, ways to plan and facilitate lab sessions, and strategies for a successful integration of laboratory activities with lecture materials while fostering active student learning and participation.

Experienced faculty panelists will provide 5-7 minutes of insights on the topic followed by an active Q/A session.
