Teaching Well Using Technology

These hands-on sessions are designed to help you begin working on the Teaching Well Using Technology Certificate.*

Each session prepares you to complete one of the modules required for the certificate. We'll provide enough time to complete at least HALF of the necessary work, but it may take 1-3 more hours to finish.

You should plan on attending all five sessions:

  1. Orientation - Monday, 9:00-10:00 AM
  2. Ed Tech Trends - Monday,10:00 AM - noon
  3. Student Response - Monday,1:30-3:30 PM 
  4. Audio Podcast - Friday, 10:00 AM - noon
  5. Media Project - Friday, 1:30-3:30 PM

Learning Goals:

After earning the certificate you will be able to use several technology tools in a higher education setting and apply sound pedagogy in strategies that use technology to enhance learning.

What to Bring:

  2. Laptop?  - The room has computers, but you are encouraged to bring your own laptop.
